Terms of Service

Last updated July 16, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the PepGuard website, account system, mobile app, and any related services (together, the “Service”), operated by PepGuard (“PepGuard,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By visiting the site, creating an account, or subscribing, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.

1. What PepGuard is (and isn’t)

PepGuard summarizes published research, clinical trial data, and regulatory status for peptides and presents it as a safety signal, an FDA status, and a set of risk flags. It is an information tool, not a medical device, and it does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition.

PepGuard is not medical advice, and using it does not create a doctor-patient relationship. Nothing on the Service should be taken as a recommendation to use, or not use, any peptide or other substance. Always talk to a licensed healthcare professional before making decisions about your health, and never disregard professional medical advice because of something you read here.

2. Accounts and subscriptions

You need an account to use PepGuard, and you’re responsible for the accuracy of the information you register with and for keeping your login credentials secure. Running a peptide check or analyzing a stack requires an active paid subscription; we don’t offer a free tier. Subscriptions are billed through Stripe (or, on mobile, through your app store via RevenueCat), renew automatically until you cancel, and can be canceled at any time from your account’s billing settings. If your subscription lapses, you keep read-only access to your existing check and stack history, but can’t create new ones until you resubscribe. We may apply fair-use limits to prevent abuse of paid usage.

3. Acceptable use

When using the Service, you agree not to:

  • Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Service without our written permission.
  • Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems.
  • Use the Service to build a competing product, or to train a competing model or dataset.
  • Misrepresent your identity or provide false information when creating an account or subscribing.
  • Share your account credentials or subscription access with people who haven’t agreed to these Terms.
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulation.

4. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, text, graphics, logos, and underlying software, is owned by PepGuard or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Underlying research data is sourced from public and licensed third-party databases (for example PubMed, ClinicalTrials.gov, and openFDA); PepGuard’s analysis, scoring, and presentation of that data is our own work product. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the Service without our permission.

5. Accuracy of information

We do our best to keep safety signals, FDA status, and citations accurate and up to date, but regulatory status changes, research gets published or retracted, and our summarization can contain errors. We don’t warrant that any information on the Service is complete, current, or error-free, and we are not liable for decisions made based on it.

6. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, PepGuard will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of health, data, or profits, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service, including any decision made about a peptide based on information presented here.

7. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. If we make material changes, we’ll update the “last updated” date above and notify account holders by email. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
