Privacy Policy

Last updated July 16, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information PepGuard (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects through its website, account system, and mobile app, why we collect it, and how it’s handled. PepGuard is a live, paid service: creating an account and running a check or building a stack involves more data than a marketing site does, so read this policy in full, not just the headings.

1. What we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information— the email address and password you register with (we store a salted hash, never your plaintext password), or your Google account identifier if you sign in with Google. We also store the onboarding answers you give us (your role and goals) and your notification preference.
  • The peptides and claims you check— the compound names, claims, stacks, and dosing/cycle information you enter, along with the reports we generate for you and any adherence log entries you record in the calendar. This is inherently sensitive: it reflects what substances you are researching or using. We treat it accordingly and do not use it for anything other than running the Service for you.
  • Billing information— if you subscribe, Stripe processes your payment details directly; we never see or store your card number. We store your Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, plan, billing interval, and subscription status so we know what you’re entitled to. If you cancel, we may store the optional feedback you give us about why.
  • Mobile app data— if you use the PepGuard mobile app, your subscription entitlement is synced to your account through RevenueCat, our mobile billing provider.
  • Basic technical data— standard server logs (like IP address, browser type, and request timestamps) generated automatically by using the Service, used only for security and debugging.
  • Analytics data— Ahrefs Analytics helps us understand aggregate site traffic, including pages visited, referrers, device/browser information, and approximate location signals.

We do not use advertising trackers or marketing pixels on this site, and we do not sell your personal information.

2. How we use it

We use the information above to:

  • Create and secure your account, and keep you signed in.
  • Generate the peptide reports and stack analyses you request, and let you review your history.
  • Process payments, manage your subscription, and enforce fair-use limits on paid usage.
  • Respond if you email us directly at hello@getpepguard.com.
  • Keep the Service secure and diagnose technical issues.
  • Understand which pages and features are useful so we can improve the product, and understand why users cancel.

We do not sell your email address or your check history, and we don’t share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

3. How your check data is processed

When you run a check or analyze a stack, the peptide name or claim you submit, together with sources we retrieve from PubMed, ClinicalTrials.gov, and openFDA, is sent to our AI provider (OpenRouter, which routes the request to a large language model) solely to generate your report. That content is not used by us or, per our provider agreement, by the model provider to train models.

4. Cookies

We set a session cookie so you stay signed in and can reach your account area; without it, the Service can’t work. We do not set marketing or advertising cookies. Analytics cookies, if used, are limited to understanding aggregate site usage.

5. Where data is stored

Your data is stored in our application database and processed by the infrastructure, payment, and AI providers we use to run the Service. We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect that data, but no method of storage or transmission over the internet is ever 100% secure.

6. Your choices

You can review and delete individual checks and stacks from your account. To close your account, request a full export, or ask what data we hold about you, email hello@getpepguard.com. We’ll handle the request promptly. Deleting your account removes your check and stack history; billing records we’re legally required to keep (for example, for tax purposes) may be retained separately.

7. Children’s privacy

The Service is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

8. Changes to this policy

We’ll update the “last updated” date above whenever we make a material change to this policy, and we’ll notify account holders by email when a change materially affects how your data is handled.
